Site Plan Review Committee to consider a public hearing relative to Conditional Use Request CU15 -46 addressed as 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, and consideration of same. B. Site Plan Review Committee to consider a public hearing relative to Special Use Request SU15 -04 addressed as 2701 Ira E. Woods Avenue, and consideration of same. 111. MINUTES A. ACTS OF THE 1993 TEXAS LEGISLATURE, THE SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 13TH DAY OF NOVFMRFR 2 15 AT 5-nn P M SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 17, 2015 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the 17th day of November 2015, in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room, 200 South Main Street, Second Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present -to -wit: Larry Oliver Chairman Darlene Freed Member Scott Williams Member constituting a quorum and the following City Staff: Ron Stombaugh Albert Triplett Jr. Susan Batte Development Services Asst. Director Planner Planning Technician Larry Oliver called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. NEW BUSINESS CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU15 -46 —GRAPEVINE MILLS MALL First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU15 -46 for property located at 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway and platted as Lot 1R3, Block 1, Grapevine Mills. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU10 -25A (Ord. 2011 -02) for a planned commercial center in excess of 1,000,000 square feet of gross leasable space, specifically to modify site signage. With this request the applicant proposed revising the previously approved sign package by changing and replacing the exterior and on premise signage with new way finding signs which offer a contemporary theme which coincides with the ongoing interior renovations of the shopping center. A total of 20 existing signs including monument, directional and entry signs were proposed for upgrades. One new channel letter wall sign is proposed along the east entrance. The existing mutli - tenant trellis signs including two forty -feet in height and three fifty -feet in height located adjacent to Grapevine Mills Parkway South and West Grapevine Mills Circle will remain and are not proposed for upgrades at this time. 111715 1 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 17, 2015 After a brief discussion, Darlene Freed moved to approve conditional use application CU1 5-46. Scott Williams seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams Nays: None SPECIAL USE APPLICATION SU1 5-04 — 121 COMMUNITY CHURCH Next for the Committee to consider was special use application SU15-04 for property located at 2701 Ira E Woods Avenue and platted as Lot 213, Block 1, Philippians. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of SU15-02 (Ord. 2015-021) for a planned commercial center to allow for a church in a non-residential district, specifically to revise the building footprint and exterior elevations. After a brief discussion, Scott Williams moved to approve special use application SU1 5- 04. Larry Oliver seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams Nays: None Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of November 4, 2015.
