The name Regency is reserved for an
exclusive, nationwide network of the
industry's leading security dealers.
Committed to the highest standards
of excellence, Regency dealers possess
unmatched training and expertise
to bring their customers the utmost
in security protection, service
and support.
And only Regency dealers offer
the superior quality, capability and
value of Regency products, designed
and manufactured in America by
a company with more than
25 years of security experience.
Printed in the U.S.A.
ITS OUTSTANDING
COMBINATION OF
FEATURES BRINGS THE
ULTIMATE SECURITY
SYSTEM TO YOUR
BUSINESS.
Each day in America, thou-
sands of businesses are victims
of burglaries. Nearly 900 com-
mercial and public buildings
are damaged by fire. Every
year, businesses suffer count-
less losses due to vandalism,
employee pilferage, careless-
ness and sabotage. To say
nothing of the spoilage and
damage caused by power
losses and other problems.
So there's no question that pro-
tection against a wide range of
risks is essential.
And with its fully integrated,
very sophisticated capabilities,
no system's better equipped
to meet such multifaceted
security needs than the
Regency 4000.
•
With its combination of fea-
tures, the Regency 4000 offers

your business security protec-
tion other systems can't match.
And since it's a modular system
it can be adapted to meet the
security needs of nearly all
commercial and public build-
ings. Regardless of size,
location or building use.
For you, it's the one security
system that can meet your
needs as your business
changes.
THE REGENCY 4000
FEATURES:
e Your business can have up to
16 touchpads conveniently lo-
cated throughout the premises
such as main entries, computer
rooms, tool cribs and produc-
tion areas.
D You can monitor from 16
to 144 separate areas of your
business, yet the system's
modularity means that you
pay only for the protection
you need today. You can moni-
tor entire rooms, windows, in-
terior and exterior doors — or
specific contents.
o 100 to 255 user codes are
available. Access to your
business can be limited to
certain hours or days, and
even to selected areas.

When an employee leaves
the company, you can easily
change the code from any
touchpad.
0 Access control can be pro-
vided for 1-15 doors and be
assigned to users of the system.
This feature can be assigned
by user code or encoded
access card.
0 An optional on-site printer
provides you a complete record
of system activity. Information
on system usage is right
at your fingertips,
as often as
you like.
DESIGNED
TO PREVENT
TROUBLE, NOT
CAUSE IT.
For all its sophistica-
tion, the Regency 4000
is everything but compli-
cated. Easy to program,
reprogram and operate, its
access codes are simple,
using four to six digits. All
keys are single function, elimi-
nating complicated sequential
operations. And the English
language display features large
letters, and easy to understand
instructions.
The Regency 4000 was also de-
signed to prevent malfunctions
and service calls. For example,
the system can be programmed
to test itself as often as you
like, to make sure it's
• Zone 105: Conference Room
• Zone 53: Computer Room
• Zone 12: Loading Dock
• Zone 6: Manager's Office
operating properly. If the sys-
tem isn't ready to be armed; the
LCD display tells you in plain
English what and where the
problem is. An entry warning
tone and optional exit warning
tone help prevent false alarms.
The door chime feature
alerts you to the presence of
a customer or visitor.
But if problems ever do occur,
the system identifies specific
zones and conditions for easier
service. Many panel options and
functions can be changed easily
through the telephone system
so you don't have to wait for
a service representative. Its
walk -test feature lets the on-
site serviceperson quickly
pinpoint the trouble.
PROTECT YOUR
BUSINESS WITH
THE FEATURE
Y.. ATTRACTION.
It bears repeating:
The unique combination
of features available with
the Regency 4000 makes it
the one security system you
can count on to help protect
your business. It's designed
for businesses like yours.

FIVT M 7 1 .' •
As an accessory to the Regency® 4000 Series
Control Communicator, the Model 4734 Access
Control Expander adds the capabilities of a full -fea-
tured access control system. The 4734 allows up to
1000 users to have access at up to 15 different
doors. This models also expands the 4720 Control
Communicator to up to 80 zones and provides area
control for up to eight separate areas.
Installation and operation of this model is very sim-
ilar to the Regency 4724 Area Control Expander.
Users with the proper authority code can use sev-
eral timesaving functions of the Model 4734
Access Control Expander. Doors can be locked or
unlocked through a simple touchpad command.
Unplanned business closings can be easily accom-
modated by manually selecting a holiday schedule
from the time windows programming using any
touchpad.
Simultaneous usage by multiple users means that
door access may be granted in one area, while
event status viewing occurs in another area, while
a user elsewhere can be changing arming status.
On-site touchpad programming is limited to a sin-
gle user at any given time.
User authority levels are easy to create with a user
profile feature that allows as many as 16 usage
profiles to be defined and then selected for each
individual user code.
When downloading is used to program this mod-
ule, it provides the ability to store the user names in
the access code menu.
The 4734 has been designed to address some of
the troublesome situations that can adversely
affect other access control systems. This module is
capable of reporting a valid card/code attempting
access when not authorized to do so. It can be pro-
grammed to report the closing of doors that have
been forced or left open.
Another benefit of the 4734 Access Control
Expander is the ability to create special high secu-
rity access by requiring a personal identification
number (PIN) to be entered at the touchpad in
addition to swiping as access card.
Expanded event storage capabilities in the 4734
include set time/date and programming change
events.

RELIABLE AND DEPENDABLE
Since 1972 Corby Digital Keys have been
utilized I thousands of installations throughout
the world. Digital Keys provide good looks,
reliability and convenience in all types of
security applications. The most important are
arming and disarming alarm systems,
activating electrically operated doors and
controlling industrial machinery and office
equipment.
Corby's commitment to quality, unlimited
service, and an unparalleled warranty policy
continues to demonstrate leadership in the
Access Control and Digital Key marketplace.
UNSURPASSED SECURITY
The Corby Digital Key consists of a 12 digit
keypad and an onboard electronics
module. The Digital Key requires a four or
five digit access code to be pressed in an
exact order. Unlike other imitators, the
Corby Digital Key uses true "Out of
Sequence" error detection that demands
exact entry of the operating code. Any
deviation from the correct sequence
instantly resets the unit.
More than 95,000 different code
combinations are possible with the Corby
Digital Key because of the twelve digit
keypad. Digital Keys that use less than
twelve digits cannot provide the same level
of security.
FIELD PROGRAMMABLE
Setting the user code is simple, reliable,
and takes only seconds. Choose a four or
five digit operating code and plug the
supplied jumper wires into the "code
bank". Panic and zone control codes are
also programmed using this method.
Codes cannot be lost due to power failure
or disturbances.
MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS
Command seven additional security
functions or devices from every 7000 Series
Corby Digital Key. Any two buttons may be
selected for panic, zone control or auxiliary
functions. As an example, zone shunting
enables the user to turn on or off certain
security areas without affecting the total
security system.
