Freese and Nichols, Inc.
the pump station to 22 million gallons per day and an additional two million gallon
ground storage tank.
This project is needed to provide an additional volume • water from the Trinity Riv
Authority (TRA) to meet projected peak water demands. TRA has committed to payin
• half • the cost for the pump • and ground storage tank • to $5 •
The construction budget is estimated by Freese and Nichols to be approximately $6.3
• •• The proposed design fee • $700,000 includes:
* $534,000 • the •. services design,
$102,000 • additional services including topographic surveying and boundary
survey, easements, geotechnical engineering and drilling, tank inspections,
hydraulic surge analysis, and handicap accessibility review, and
$64,000 • engineering •- services including environmental assessments
and site selection analysis, flow and pressure monitoring at TRA delivery points,
pipeline crossings for State • 121 and additional construction •
services.
