Any application for a change in zoning or for an amendment to the zoning ordinance shall have, from the date of submittal, a period of four months to request and be scheduled on an agenda before the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. If after said period of four months an application has not been scheduled before the Commission and Council said application shall be considered withdrawn, with forfeiture of all filing fees. The application, along with the required filing fee may be resubmitted any time thereafter for reconsideration. Delays in scheduling applications before the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council created by city staff shall not be considered a part of the four month period. The building earthwork notes on sheet A2-1 (site plan) are not necessary for this submittal and may be removed. Please include the following note on sheet A2-1 (site plan): Conditional Use Request CU08-18 is a request to amend the previously approved site plan of CU06-31, (Ord. 2006-55) for a planned commercial center, specifically to allow changes to the elevations. 1 The above comments must be reflected in the revised submittal, which is due by Thursday, August 21st at 12:00 p.m. for the August 27th public hearing. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The original conditional use request which established the site plan for the planned commercial center was considered and approved by Council at the May 20, 2003 meeting (CU03-10). Conditional Use Request CU6-31 was approved at the August 16, 2006 meeting amending the previously approved site plan on the subject site for development of a 17,724 square foot medical office building. With this request the applicant proposes to reduce the total square footage of the proposed medical office building from 17,724 square feet to 15,313 square feet and revise the elevations.
