HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 05 - Morsco SupplyMEMO TO: HONORABLE MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL MEMEBERS AND THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER ERICA MAROHNIC, DIRECTOR OF PLANNING SERVICES MEETING DATE: NOVEMBER 15, 2022 SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU22-45, MORSCO SUPPLY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council accept the applicant's request to withdraw Conditional Use application CU22-45 without prejudice, and take any other necessary action. BACKGROUND: Soy Thomas, on behalf of Morsco Supply, submitted a Conditional Use application for property located at 3200 Stone Meyers Parkway to allow for outdoor storage in conjunction with the development of a warehouse for wholesale building materials. At the October 18, 2022 meeting the applicant requested to table the request to the November 15 meeting to allow for design changes. The applicant now requests to withdraw the request without prejudice. The intent is to submit a new application with revised design elements for the subject site. The applicant is requesting the withdrawal as the project -design team reconfigures operational design elements into the City submittal package. The intent is to resubmit prior to the submittal deadline of 11/7 for consideration at the December public hearing.
