BACKGROUND INFORMATION Since it's initial conception in 1995, its grand opening in October 1997, till the present time, numerous conditional use requests have been considered and approved relative to the Grapevine Mills Mall, the most recent being an amendment (CU10-14) to the AMC Theatre complex to allow food and alcohol beverage service in 13 of the 30 theaters within the complex approved at the August 17, 2010 public hearing. With this request the applicant proposes a number of small changes to the exterior elevations and landscaping near the southeast corner of the mall that was formerly occupied by Sports Authority and most recently Steve and Barry's. It's intended to subdivide this space into two separate tenant lease spaces for two retail clothing providers, Ross and VF. Both prospective tenants require exterior changes for their operations primarily to accommodate an on -grade loading dock and trash compactor for the Ross lease space which will be screened from view and an exterior entry for the VF lease space. We are seeking approval to modify the site plan to accommodate the division of space 125 into two (2) separate tenant spaces.
