Consider appointment of a Board Member to serve as liaison on the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Board B. Consider approval of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements: • Henry Shein, Inc. for Ira E. Woods Avenue, from Kimball Road to Mustang Drive • Francis Family for Ira E. Woods, from SH 114 to Kimball Road • The Goldberg Family for Meadowmere Park, from the swim beach to the south boat ramp • Matthew Goldberg and Friends for Shadybrook, from Dove Loop West to Lucas Drive C. Consider a date for a tour of the parks in Grapevine VI. Miscellaneous Staff Reports (No action will be taken on any of the following items) • CAC Expansion • Denton Creek Trail erosion • SH 26 median landscaping • Casey's Clubhouse • Dove Pool and Bathhouse improvements • Bike Rack Program VII. DIR CTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met April 18, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the City Manager's Conference Room, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to -wit: Larry Francis Ray Harris Dave Buhr Roy Robertson Elizabeth Kaufman John Dalri constituting a quorum, with Debra Tridico absent, with the following members of the City Staff: Doug Evans Director of Parks & Recreation Joe Moore Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Dave Buhr at 6:01 p.m. A moment of silence was observed. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Ray Harris and seconded by Elizabeth Kaufman to approve the minutes of the March 21, 2013 meeting. Motion passed 5-0. Ayes — Francis, Buhr, Kaufman, Harris, Robertson Nays- None Absent - Tridico Citizen Requests Peter Doyle, Recreation Coordinator, was introduced. New Business Consider appointment of a Board Member to serve as liaison on the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Board. Motion made by Elizabeth Kaufman and seconded by Ray Harris to elect Larry Francis. Motion passed 4-0-1. Ayes — Buhr, Kaufman, Harris, Robertson Nays— None Abstained - Francis Absent - Tridico Note: John Dalri arrived at 6:08 p.m. Consider approval of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements: • Henry Shein, Inc. for Ira E. Woods, from SH 114 to Kimball Road Motion was made by Ray Harris and seconded by John Dalri to approve the following agreement: Motion passed 5-0-1 Ayes —Tridico, Harris, Kaufman, Dalri and Buhr Nays — None Abstained — Francis Consider a date for a tour of the parks in Grapevine. Motion made by John Dalri and seconded by Larry Francis to have the tour on May 30, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall. Motion passed 6-0. Adjourn Motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by John Dalri to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. Motion passed 6-0.
