IN ACCORDANCE WITH TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 551.001 et seq, ACTS OF THE 1993 TEXAS LEGISLATURE, THE BOARD MEETING AGENDA, WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 3rd DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1999 AT 5:00 P.M. s f 5t DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION t S CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday, September 9, 1999 at 7:06 p.m. at City Hall, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to wit: Dr. Edith Pewitt Hayden Smith Dr. Curtis Ratliff Ryan Wade Absent: Julie Florence Jeff Kirkhuff Staff: Doug Evans Guests: Sarah Cloud Barbara Johnson Roy Robertson Larry Atchley Art Pierce Larry Francis Brandon Simon — Student Liaison Joe Moore The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. A motion was made by Larry Atchley and seconded by Barbara Johnson to approve the minutes as written of the August 19, 1999 meeting. The motion passed unanimously. There were no Citizen Requests. Old Business With regard to the Parks tour, it was suggested that since the tour was scheduled on a long weekend for school, to consider changing the date. The date will remain the same, leaving at 9:00 a.m. from the Community Activities Center. A review of the promotional materials for the booth at Grapefest included a Public Art Exchange Program, informational posters from Parres de la Fuentes, Mexico and Krems, Austria as presented by Ms. Sarah Cloud. Staff presented PARD renderings and decorations. Miscellaneous Board Reports Art Pierce read a card from former Parks & Recreation Advisory Board member, Linda Dobbs -Willis. A motion was made by Ryan Wade and seconded by Barbara Johnson to adjourn.
