Presentation on the Cast for Catfish event held on Saturday, March 11th at the Church at the Cross — Memorial Baptist Church B. Consider renewal of an Adopt -A -Road agreement with Glade Crossing Neighborhood Association for Hughes Road, from Euless Grapevine Road to Hall -Johnson and Baze Road, from Glade Road to Hughes Road C. Consider approval of an Adopt -A -Road agreement with the Atwal Family for Hughes Road, from W. D. Tate Avenue to Hall -Johnson Road D. Consider approval of an Adopt -A -Road agreement with Wildwood Creek Apartments for East Dove Loop Road, from Ruth Wall Street to Dooley Street E. Consider approval of an Adopt -A -Park agreement with the John Rath Family for the shoreline adjacent to Acorn Woods Park VI. DIRE OR OF PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to wit: Debra Tridico Roy Robertson Leon Leal (arrived 6:08) Susan Pittman Absent: Staff: Margie Mitchell Doug Evans Kevin Mitchell Jenny Bowden Ray Harris John Dalri Larry Francis (arrived 6:25) Lawrence Baker Joe Moore Cameron Powell The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Vice Chair Roy Robertson Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by Ray Harris to approve the minutes of the March 16, 2006 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. Citizen Requests There were no citizen requests. New Business A. Cast for Catfish — A presentation was made by Cameron Powell and Jenny Bowden on the Cast for Catfish event held on Saturday, March 11 th at the Church of the Cross — Memorial Baptist Church. B. Adopt -A -Road — Motion was made by Susan Pittman and seconded by John Dalri to approve the renewal of the Adopt -A -Road agreement with Glade Crossing Neighborhood Association for Hughes Road, from Euless Grapevine Road to Hall -Johnson and Baze Road, from Glade Road to Hughes Road. Motion passed unanimously. C. Adopt -A -Road - Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by Susan Pittman to approve the Adopt -A -Road agreement with the Atwal Family for Hughes Road, from W. D. Tate Avenue to Hall -Johnson Road. Motion passed unanimously. D. Adopt -A -Road - Motion was made by Ray Harris and seconded by John Dalri to approve the Adopt -A -Road agreement with Wildwood Creek Apartments for East Dove Loop Road, from Ruth Wall Street to Dooley Street. Motion passed unanimously. E. Adopt -A -Park - Motion was made by Susan Pittman and seconded by John Dalri to approve the Adopt -A -Park agreement with the John Rath Family for the shoreline adjacent to Acorn Woods Park. Motion passed unanimously. Miscellaneous Board Reports • Ray Harris described the trail marking system of approximately 15 miles of connected trails. • Susan Pittman gave a report on Keep Grapevine Beautiful. Miscellaneous Staff Reports • Doug Evans reported on the Growth and Efficiency Report - 1993 through 2005. • Joe Moore and Doug Evans updated the Board on the trail projects. • Joe Moore and Kevin Mitchell reported on the renovations at The Vineyards Campground. • Doug Evans announced the Trail Dedication, Arbor Day, and Eagle Scout project for April 28.
