DIRI�OTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. at the Senior Activities Center, 421 Church Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to wit: Lawrence Baker Dave Buhr John Dalri Ray Harris Elizabeth Kaufman Bob Tipton Debra Tridico Absent: Larry Francis, Roy Robertson Staff: Doug Evans Joe Moore The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. Invocation A moment of silence was observed. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to approve the minutes of the September 25, 2008 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. Citizen Requests There were no citizen requests. New Business Motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Bob Tipton to renew an Adopt -An - Area agreement with Ray and Susan Harris for the shoreline on Lake Grapevine, from the eastern shoreline adjacent to Meadowmere Park around the point to near Labrador Bay. Motion passed 6-0. Ray Harris abstained. Motion was made by Elizabeth Kaufman and seconded by Bob Tipton to renew an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Northeast Neighborhood Association for Katie's Woods Drive, from Redbud Lane to Dunn Street. Motion passed unanimously. Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to approve an Adopt - An -Area agreement with Marty & Tia Metzger for Oak Grove Loop, from Dove Loop and Oak Grove Loop South to Oak Grove Loop North and Darren G. Medlin Trail. Motion passed unanimously. Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by Lawrence Baker to appoint Elizabeth Kaufman to serve as the liaison on the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Board. Motion passed unanimously. Motion was made by Bob Tipton and seconded by John Dalri to adjourn for the annual tour of parks and facilities. Time: 8:25 a.m. RECORDING SECRETARY — Douglas M. Consider renewal of an Adoot-An-Area aareement with the Murrav-Waaner Families for Mustang Drive from SW Grapevine Parkway to the Access Road of 121 A copy of the agreement and report form are attached. Staff recommends approval. B. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Jim & Barbara Johnson for Snakey Lane A copy of the agreement and the report from are attached. Staff recommends approval.
