Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Karen and John McKergow for Kimball Road, from Silvercrest to Roaring Springs C. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Grapevine Garden Club for the Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park D. Consider approval of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Lambertson Family for Dove Loop, from Main Street to Dooley Street and for the creek that is located to the west of the Grapevine Cemetery on Dooley Street E. Consider approval of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Grapevine Yoga for West Wall Street, from Main Street to Dove Road F. Consider approval of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Talluri Family for Roberts Road, from Hall -Johnson Road to Glade Road G. Consider the appointment of Board Member Dave Buhr as liaison to Keep Grapevine Beautiful VI. Kirby, Julie Daniels Grapevine Youth Baseball: Mary Martin Grapevine Youth Wrestling: Mary Martin Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association: Keith Halman The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Invocation Bob Tipton gave an invocation. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Larry Francis to approve the minutes of the June 18, 2009 meeting, with typo corrections. Motion passed unanimously. Citizen Requests There were no citizen requests. New Business A. Presentation of the financial and participation reports from the following youth associations were made: • Grapevine-Colleyville Youth Football Association: Kip Ewing and John Cheneler • Grapevine Girls Softball Association: Debbie Robinson, Andrea L. Kirby, Julie Daniels • Grapevine Youth Baseball: Mary Martin • Grapevine Youth Wrestling: Mary Martin • Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association: Keith Halman B. Motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Bob Tipton to renew an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Karen and John McKergow for Kimball Road, from Silvercrest to Roaring Springs. Motion passed unanimously. C. Motion was made Lawrence Baker and seconded by John Dalri to renew an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Grapevine Garden Club for the Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park. Motion passed unanimously. D. Motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Larry Francis to approve an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Lambertson Family for Dove Loop, from Main Street to Dooley Street and for the creek that is located to the west of the Grapevine Cemetery on Dooley Street. Motion passed unanimously. E. Motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Roy Robertson to approve an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Grapevine Yoga for West Wall Street, from Main Street to Dove Road. Motion passed unanimously. F. Motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Bob Tipton to approve an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Talluri Family for Roberts Road, from Hall - Johnson Road to Glade Road. Motion passed unanimously. G. Motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by John Dalri to appoint Board Member Dave Buhr as liaison to Keep Grapevine Beautiful. Motion passed 6 to 0, with 1 abstaining. Miscellaneous Staff Reports • Doug Evans reported on the status of Keep Grapevine Beautiful. Conisder renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Orphey Family for the shoreline south of Scott's landing marina, between Vineyard View and Chris Craft Drive The agreement is attached for review. Staff recommends approval. B. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Deem Family for the shoreline south of Scott's landing marina from Farris Branch Road southeast to Murrell Road The agreement is attached for review. Staff recommends approval. C. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An Area agreement with the Friends of Casey for Casey's Clubhouse The agreement and report form are attached for review. Staff recommends approval. D. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Zan Family for the shoreline from Dove Loop Boat Ramp to Sand Bass Boat Ramp The agreement and report form are attached for review. Staff recommends approval. E. Consider renewal of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Grapevine American Business Club for Main Street, from SH 114 to Northwest Highway and Barton and Jenkins Streets The agreement and report form are attached for review. Staff recommends approval.
