Presentation of the financial and participation reports from the Grapevine- Colleyville Youth Football Association, Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association, Grapevine Youth Wrestling and Grapevine Baseball Softball Association B Consider approval of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements • The Lindenberger Family for Acorn Woods • Kayakpower.com for the shoreline at Rockledge Park C. Consider renewal of the following Adopt -A -Area agreements • Friends of Oak Grove Park for the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from Dove Loop to the east side of the Oak Grove Soccer Complex • Lake Grapevine Runners & Walkers forthe C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from Dove Road to Dove Loop • Noah & Luke Preston forthe shoreline at Meadowmere Park nearthe boat ramp • Goldberg Family for Silvercrest Lane • Matthew Goldberg & Friends for Dove Crossing Park VI. Miscellaneous Staff Reports (No action will be taken on any of the following items) • Update on improvements at the Vineyards Campground • Update on the boat ramp at Meadowmere Park • Keep Grapevine Beautiful VII. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Beth Kaufman and seconded by Ray Harris to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2010 meeting. Motion passed 8-0. Citizen Requests There were no citizen requests. New Business A. Presentation of the financial and participation reports from the following youth associations were made: (1) Grapevine-Colleyville Youth Football Association: Kip Ewing — See report. Dave Buhr asked about background checks and also about Board Meetings and Minutes being posted on the website. (2) Grapevine -South lake Soccer Association: Keith Halman — See report. Fall revenue registrations have not been posted in this report. (3) Grapevine Youth Wrestling: Leon Leal — See report. They spend all revenue on club each year. (4) Grapevine Youth Baseball/Softball: Mike Richmond — See report. Softball fees are $60 for previous players and $80 for new players. Net income is used to buy equipment and Capital Fund. Motion was made by Bob Tipton and seconded by John Dalri to approve the following Adopt -An -Area agreements • The Lindenberger Family for Acorn Woods • Kayakpower.com for the shoreline at Rockledge Park Motion passed 7-0. (Ray Harris left the meeting.) A motion was made by Bob Tipton and seconded by Lawrence Baker to renew the following Adopt -An -Area agreements: • Friends of Oak Grove Park for the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from Dove Loop to the east side of the Oak Grove Soccer Complex • Lake Grapevine Runners & Walkers for the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from Dove Road to Dove Loop • Noah & Luke Preston for the shoreline at Meadowmere Park near the boat ramp • Goldberg Family for Silvercrest Lane • Matthew Goldberg & Friends for Dove Crossing Park Motion passed 7-0. Miscellaneous Staff Reports • Joe Moore reported on the Vineyards Campground • Doug Evans reported on Meadowmere Park • Dave Buhr, Keep Grapevine Beautiful, reported that on July 29th there would be a GRACE Community Garden reception. • October 16th there will be a Trash & Treasures event. • A grant was received for kayaks/john boats and trailer Miscellaneous Board Items Roy Robertson commented that Dove Park has temporary goals and the grass is wearing out.
