Motion passed 8-0. Citizen Requests There were no Citizen Requests. New Business A motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by Ray Harris to approve the hours of Lakeview Park, Meadowmere Park and Rockledge Park as written in the Ordinance. Motion passed 9-0. A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Debra Tridico to approve an Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Clan Campbell for Roberts Road, from Hall -Johnson to Birch Street. Motion passed 9-0. Randy Sell gave a presentation on the "Grape -Yard at the Vineyards Campground" event to be held on October 29. 2011. Miscellaneous Staff Reports • Doug Evans and Joe Moore gave a status report of the work on the boat ramp at Meadowmere Park. • Travis Smith presented information on Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, October 1, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and encouraged volunteers to help out. Estimated 100 people to attend. • Joe Moore gave an update on the Links Trail. • Dave Buhr showed a Scrapbook prepared by Ms. Samantha Cloud on Keep Grapevine Beautiful and shared scheduled events for the next month. Miscellaneous Board items • Rockledge Park revenue and plans — Doug Evans explained the history of how Lake Parks came to be, then in 2009 the City took over Rockledge, all being supported by revenues from Lake Parks fees. A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Elizabeth Kaufman to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously. Time: 7:00 p.m. RECORDING SECRETARY — Joe Moore, Asst. Consider renewal of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements • Grapevine American Business Club for Main Street, from SH 114 to Northwest Highway and Barton Street and Jenkins Street • John & Karen McKergow for Kimball Road, from Silvercrest Lane to the entrance of Meadowmere Park • Lambertson Family for Fall Creek, from West Dove Loop to the Vineyards Campground (Creek West of Grapevine Cemetery) • Grapevine Yoga for West Wall Street, from Main Street to Dove Road B. Consider approval of an Adopt -An -Area agreement with Winding Creek Neighborhood Association for Dove Park Staff recommends approval of all Adopt -An -Area agreements above. C. Report on the 'Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day" — Travis Smith
