• Sister City Program for Northwest Highway
• Gaylord Texan for Ruth Wall and Gaylord Trail
• Parker Family for College Street
• Georjean Sherriff for Lakeview Park
• 1 -800 -GOT -JUNK for Mustang Drive
• Neill Family for Big Bear Creek Nature Preserve

The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met Thursday, April 19, 2012
at 6:00 p.m. at the Meadowmere Park Low Water Boat Ramp, 3013 Meadowmere Lane,
Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to wit:
Larry Francis
Elizabeth Kaufmann
John Dalri
Ben Dyer
Ray Harris
Lawrence Baker
Debra Tridico
Roy Robertson
David Buhr
Staff: Doug Evans, Kevin Mitchell, Chris Smith, Mary Jo Tellin and Mona Burk
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
A moment of silence was observed for the invocation.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Lawrence Baker to approve the
minutes of the March 22, 2012 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
Citizen Requests
There were no Citizen Requests.
New Business
A motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by Roy Robertson to approve a
resolution in support of Grapevine as a Road Runners Club of America 'Runner
Friendly Community". Motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Roy Robertson and seconded by Larry Francis to approve a
bike rack program in Grapevine in partnership with Baylor Regional Medical Center and
Mad Duck Cyclery. Motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Dave Buhr and seconded by Ray Harris to approve the following
Adopt -An -Area agreements. Motion passed unanimously.
• Sister City Program for Northwest Highway

A motion was made by Larry Francis and seconded by Lawrence Baker to adjourn.
Motion passed unanimously. Time: 5:14 p.m.

A. Chris Smith and Trent Kelley will give a powerpoint presentation on the
expansion and renovation of the Community Activities Center.
