• Texas Toyota for Hanover Drive, from Main Street to Minters Chapel
Road
• Eldridge Family for Hughes Road, from Hall -Johnson to SH 121
D. Consider renewal of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements:
• Glade Crossing Neighborhood Association for Baze Road, from Glade
Road to Hughes Road
• Demmilee Video Productions for the shoreline from Sand Bass Boat
Ramp to Trawick Boat Ramp
• Allen Family for Euless -Grapevine Road, from SH 360 to Glade Road
• Friends of Oak Grove Park, for the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from
Dove Loop to Trawick Trail
E. Consider cancelling the December Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
meeting

The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met Thursday, November 15,
2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bessie Mitchell Meeting Facility, 411 Ball Street, Grapevine,
Texas with the following members present, to wit:
Roy Robertson
Ray Harris
Elizabeth Kaufmann
Dave Buhr—arrived 6:05
Absent: Larry Francis
Staff: Doug Evans, Joe Moore
The meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m.
John Dalri
Debra Tridico
Lawrence Baker
A moment of silence was observed for the invocation.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to approve the
minutes of the October 18, 2012 meeting. Motion passed 6-0.
Citizen Requests
There were no citizen requests.
New Business
A motion was made by Ray Harris and seconded by Roy Robertson to approve a
resolution supporting the Texas Recreation and Parks Account and the Texas State
Park System. Motion passed 7-0.
Doug Evans reported that the Grapeyard event held at the Vineyards Campground on
Saturday, October 27th was a great success with 2,706 in attendance.
Motion was made by Elizabeth Kaufmann and seconded by Lawrence Baker to approve
the following Adopt -An -Area agreements:
• Texas Toyota for Hanover Drive, from Main Street to Minters Chapel Road
• Eldridge Family for Hughes Road, from Hall -Johnson to SH 121
Motion passed 7-0.
Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to approve renewal of
the following Adopt -An -Area agreements:
• Glade Crossing Neighborhood Association for Baze Road, from Glade Road
to Hughes Road
• Demmilee Video Productions for the shoreline from Sand Bass Boat Ramp
to Trawick Boat Ramp
• Allen Family for Euless -Grapevine Road, from SH 360 to Glade Road
• Friends of Oak Grove Park, for the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail, from Dove Loop
to Darren Medlin Trail
Motion passed 7-0.
Motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Elizabeth Kaufmann to cancel the
December Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting due to the holidays. Motion
passed 7-0.
Miscellaneous Staff Reports — Doug Evans and Joe Moore updated the Board on:
• Design of the renovation and expansion of the CAC will be done by Barker -
Rinker Seacat
• Update on the Denton Creek Trail erosion - $740,000 bid for construction
• Update on the SH 26 median landscaping
• Update on the new Casey's Clubhouse
• Update on the Dove Pool and Bathhouse improvements
• Update on the Dove Sport Lights improvements
• Carol of Lights and Christmas Parade
Miscellaneous Board items
• Keep Grapevine Beautiful — Cathy Reese is the new KGVB President.
• GCISD events — Seth Gillitzer reported on events.
• Elizabeth Kaufmann reported that Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day had 15
kids show up.
Admiourn
Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to adjourn. Motion
passed 7-0. Time: 6:52 p.m.
