Consider renewal of the following Adopt -An -Area agreements • Grapevine Elks Lodge for Bushong Road • Clan Campbell for Roberts Street, from Hall -Johnson Road to Birch Street • Grapevine Ambucs for Main Street from SH 114 to Northwest Highway • Bob and Barbara Tipton for Park Boulevard, from Northwest Highway to Dove Road D. Approval of Minutes Director of Parks & Recreation Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation A motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Dave Buhr to approve the October 17, 2013 minutes. Motion passed 7-0. Ayes — Roy Robertson, Ray Harris, John Dalri, Elizabeth Kaufman, Debra Tridico, Dave Buhr, Gary Humble Nays - None Absent — Larry Francis and Terry Musar Citizen Requests DORBA- 10,443 volunteer hours — through October 30 — 423 volunteers; 661 — Horseshoe Trails. o Saturday, December 7 — Bike Demo at Horseshoe Trails on the east end New Business Doug Evans presented the concept plan for the Wall -Farrar Nature Park - $200,000 grant with $100,000 match by the city. Motion made by Elizabeth Kaufman and seconded by Ray Harris to approve the concept plan. Motion passed 7-0. Ayes — Roy Robertson, Ray Harris, John Dalri, Elizabeth Kaufman, Debra Tridico, Dave Buhr, Gary Humble Nays - None Absent — Larry Francis and Terry Musar Motion was made by Debra Tridico and seconded by John Dalri to approve the following Adopt -An -Area agreements. Ayes — Roy Robertson, Ray Harris, John Dalri, Elizabeth Kaufman, Debra Tridico, Dave Buhr, Gary Humble Nays - None Absent — Larry Francis and Terry Musar Miscellaneous Staff Reports — Doug Evans updated the board on: • Status of the CAC expansion — Considering to move CAC during construction • Christmas activities — Fatima to resend PARD Christmas Potluck (December 13) Invite to Board members; Parade of Lights on December 5 • Parr Park restroom & other improvements — Targeting a February time frame • Oak Grove Ballfield lights — Council approved bids. • Meadowmere Park pumping system & other improvements — Bids came in under budget. • Links Hike & Bike Trail & Big Bear Creek Trail Linkage — 90% on Links Trail • GRACE Playground — On Council agenda for December 3 to approve. • Botanical Gardens Fountain Renovation — Renovation to begin December 5. • TRAPS Awards — To be presented to Council on December 3. No action taken on the above items. Miscellaneous Board Items • Keep Grapevine Beautiful —Giving Campaign, Trailer in Christmas Parade; City Wide Recycling Day success • GCISD Report— Gym floors to be refinished • GCISD Student Report No action taken on the above items.
