1) Robert Singletary reviewed the executive summary report. Weather was a factor in
the 1 sl quarter thus our revenue and rounds were down. 14 days of several weather
impact. Total revenue was down 4% to prior but 1 % to budget. Merchandise sales
were only down 4% while rounds were down 20% to prior; 11 % to budget. January is
off to a great start as we have had great weather. As of January 19th, we have already
reached our revenue number for January 2022. We had several small to medium size
outings in October which we can blend into regular play. We have successfully
transitioned the ownership of Persimmon's to the city of Grapevine. We successfully
implemented new golf rates approved by the city council which has helped due to round
decreasing with the weather. We are trying very hard to regain our night business in
Persimmon's by updating the menu and having a fully staffed kitchen. Gabe Altshule
resigned as of 12/31/22 but we have hired David Hirschfeld to replace him. We feel
play will not slow down in the upcoming months so we have increased our outside
service staffing.
