This letter confirms on May 23, 2023 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA23-31 for the property addressed 854 East Wall Street, legally described as
Block 2, Lot 8, D. E. Box Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation
Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the
following:
1. Remove the existing roof shingles and replace them with new GAF Timberline HDZ
roofing shingles in "Charcoal" color;
as per the attached specification sheet with the condition a roof permit is obtained from
the Building Services Department.
An approved Cert4ficate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
