COUNTY OF TARRANT
CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, met in regular session on this the 6th day of May,
1980 at 8:00 P.M., Civic Center, 311 Main Street, with
the following persons present to -wit:
Duane Rogers Chairman
Harlen Joyce Member
Robert Sands Member
Ron Cook Member
Sharron Spencer Member
constituting a quorum with the following members of the
City Staff:
Bobbie Phillippe Secretary

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Duane
Rogers.
ZONING APPLICATION Z80-19, SPALDING
The first order of business was for the Planning &
Zoning Commission to consider Zoning Application
Z80-19 submitted by David Spalding and make a
recommendation to the City Council.
There being little discussion, Member Harlen Joyce
made a motion to recommend approval of the application.
The motion was seconded by Member Robert Sands and
prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Rogers, Joyce, Sands, Cook, & Spencer
Nays: None
ZONING APPLICATION Z80-20, BOB TAYLOR
The next order of business was for the Planning &
Zoning commission to consider Zoning Application
Z80-20 submitted by Bob Taylor and make a recommen-
dation to the City Council.
Following a short discussion, Member Ron Cook made a
motion to recommend approval of the application as
submitted. The motion was seconded by Harlen Joyce
and prevailed as follows:
Ayes: Rogers, Joyce, Sands, Cook, & Spencer
Nays: None
MOBILE HOME APPLICATION 80-3, IGLESIAS
The next order of business was for the Planning &
Zoning Commission to consider Mobile Home Application
80-3 submitted by Mrs. Iglesias and make a recommenda-
tion to the City Council.
Following a short discussion, Member Robert Sands made
a motion to deny the application. The motion was
seconded by Member Ron Cook and prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Rogers, Joyce, Sands, Cook, & Spencer
Nays: None
MINUTES, MARCH 4, and APRIL 15, 1980
The next order of business was consideration of the
Minutes of March 4, and April 15, 1980. Member Ron
Cook made a motion to waive the reading of the Minutes
and approve them as printed. The motion was seconded
by Member Harlen Joyce and prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Rogers, Joyce, Sands, Cook, & Spencer
Nays: None

There being no further business to come before the
Planning & Zoning Commission, member Robert Sands
made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded
by Member Sharron Spencer and prevailed by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes: Rogers, Joyce, Sands, Cook, & Spencer
Nays: None
