CALL TO ORDER
CITIZEN COMMENTS
1. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Animal Shelter Advisory
Committee under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing a Citizen
Appearance Request form with the Committee Secretary. A member of the public may
address the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee regarding an item on the agenda either
before or during the Board’s consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the
Chairperson or upon the consent of the Committee. In accordance with the Texas Open
Meetings Act, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee is restricted in discussing or taking
action during Citizen Comments.

March, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Grapevine Animal Services, 500 Shady Brook Dr., Grapevine, Texas 76051, with the
following members present to -wit:

Tim Hall called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m.

No citizen comments submitted.
ITEM 2. CONSIDER MINUTES
Minutes for September 7, 2022 were considered. Jason Steinle offered a motion to approve, and Joy Mayo seconded.
All in favor. 7-0.

ITEM 4. GENERAL OPERATIONS UPDATE
Beverly Horton display in the process of installation —about $800k donated to Animal Services. Veterinary equipment
and contract should be going forward to City Council soon.
ITEM 5. UPCOMING EVENTS
Vaccine clinics: 3125 (free rabies), 6/10, 10/28, 12/30
Open House: April 15
Microchip Clinic: April 15
PAWS by Reading: dates coming up through summer months
Review of next meeting date
No action taken by the committee.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Sherri Olsen offered a motion to adjourn the meeting
at 2:31 p.m. and Joy Mayo seconded. Motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Hall, Mayo, Olsen, Price, Snyder, Steinle, Valentine
Nays: None
