BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING
THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 2021 AT 4:00 P.M.
GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY OFFICE
131 STARR PLACE, GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
CALL TO ORDER: 4:00 mm.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
1. Commissioners to recess to the Housing Authority Conference Room to conduct a
closed session relative to consultation with and legal advice from the City Attorney
regarding pending litigation (Ivey, et al. v. Grapevine Housing Authority — Cause
No. 2020-00063930-1), pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code.
Commissioners to reconvene in open session in the Housing Authority Conference
Room and take any necessary action relative to items discussed in Executive
Session.
REGULAR MEETING
CITIZEN COMMENTS
2. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of
Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing
a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. A member of the
public may address the Board of Commissioners regarding an item on the agenda
either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon being recognized
by the Chair of the Board or upon the consent of the Board. In accordance with the
Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during
Citizen Comments.
NEW BUSINESS
3. Consideration of the minutes from the May 27, 2021 meeting and take any necessary
action.
4. Consideration and acceptance of the April 2021 monthly financial statements and
take necessary action.
ADJOURNMENT
In accordance with the Open Meeting Law, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, 1
hereby certify that the above agenda was posted on the official boards at Grapevine City
Hall, 200 S Main Street and on the City's website on June 21, 2021 by 4:00 p.m.

The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority met in Regular Session on this the 24th day of June
2021, in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, 131 Starr Place, with the following members
present to wit:
Linda Troeger
Chair
Bonnie McHugh
Commissioner
Bettye Bratcher

Teri Rhodes -Cantu
Commissioner

Constituting a quorum, with the following also present:

Executive Director
Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Item #1 Executive Session
Chairperson Troeger announced the Board of Commissioners would recess to the Conference Room to conduct a
closed session regarding:
1. Consultation with and legal advice from the City Attorney regarding pending litigation (Ivey, et al. v. Grapevine
Housing Authority— Cause No. 2020-00063930-1), pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code.
The Board of Commissioners recessed to the Housing Authority Conference Room and began the closed session at
4:00 p.m. The closed session ended at 4:02 p.m.
Upon reconvening in open session in the Conference Room, Chairperson Troeger stated there was no action to be
taken relative to Section 551.071.

Chairperson Troeger called the regular meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS
Item #3 - Consideration of the minutes from the Mav 27. 2021 meeting and take anv necessary action.
The Board was provided the minutes from the May 27, 2021 meeting for approval.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to accept the May 27, 2021 minutes as
presented.

Troeger, Anderson, Rhodes -Cantu and McHugh
Nays:
None
Absent:
Schaefer
Motion passed:
4-0
Item #4 - Consideration and acceotance of the Aoril 2021 monthly financial statements and take necessary action.
The Executive Director presented the board with an electronic copy of the April 2021 financial statements for review.
Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded to accept the April 2021 financial statements.

Troeger, Anderson, Rhodes -Cantu and McHugh
Nays:
None
Absent:
Schaefer
Motion passed:
4-0
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
