This letter confirms on August 28, 2023 the Historic Preservation staff approved with
conditions #CA23-61 for the property addressed 807 East Texas Street, legally described
as Block 2, Lot 16, D. E. Box Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic
Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended,
for the following:
1. Replace the existing fences along the south, north and west property lines as
follows:
a. Construct a new 8 foot high board -on -board wood fence along the north
property line, five feet to the north from its current location;
b. Construct a new 6 foot high board -on -board wood fence with wood gate on
the south side of the side yard;
c. Construct a new 3 '/2 foot high board -on -board wood fence along the west
(Ruth Street) side of the rear yard;
2. Repaint the exterior body of the house in a new color using Benjamin Moore
"Newburyport Blue" HC-155;
as per the attached plans and paint swatch with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Services Department.
An approved Cert icate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.

Description of fence replacement at 807 E Texas St
1. Texas Street. The fence is on the east side of the home and includes a gate to the
backyard. The fence will be a 6' high board -on -board constricted fence including a gate.
2. The rear of the lot (North side). Move the fence north approximately 5' back to the
property line, and align the rear fence with adjoining lots. The fence will be a 8' high
board -on -board fence. It will taper down to 6' high at the Ruth Street end of the fence.
3. Replace the white picket fence along Ruth St with a 3.5' tall board -on -board fence with a
top cap.
