SUBJECT: OCTOBER 3, 2023 CITY COUNCIL MEETING START TIME
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider changing the start time of the October 3, 2023
regular Council meeting to 5:30 pm to allow the City Council to attend
National Night Out events.
FUNDING SOURCE:
BACKGROUND: Every year the City of Grapevine celebrates National Night Out on the first
Tuesday of October with neighborhoods throughout the City holding
events in their neighborhoods.
Changing the meeting time on October 3 from 7:30 pm to 5:30 pm allows
Council Members time to attend events throughout the City.
Staff recommends approval.
