Special Meeting called to order by BH Starr Mayor with the following present, Yancey, Saunders, Lucas, Dye and Faust.
Committee from the commercial club brought up the matter of fire apparatus. Council then web into executive session.
Council then adjourned.

October 15, 1907
Council meet in regular session with all present tonight. The tax rendition as approved by the Board was accepted and the Board discharged on motion of Saunders the first day of November was set to begin collecting taxes. Marshall WM Bennett resigned and JW May was appointed in his stead. JW Yancey filed he following board to wit
Council appropriated by unanimous vote $25.00 to buy fire apparatus. The following bill presented Grapevine Water Work Aug, Sept, and Oct 9.00. Marshall salary to tonight 15.00. Council adjourned.
