Council called to order by W.R. Cook Mayor with the following present Yancy, Dye, Barton. Last meeting read and approved. Petition of Wall & Wood asking permission to fence Lipscomb ally in consideration which said wall and wood agreed to sell back 14 feet 25 feet further south for alley purposes. Moved and carried that the petition be granted and it was so ordered.
?? was moved and carried that the Council consult the attorney and have him prepare deed transference to the donors of the Powell property the ground between the Masonic Hall and the Power lot now included in Worth Street as extended. Moved and carried that the town officials be exempted from road work during their term of office.
