There being no further business Council adjourned. BR Wall Sect.
April 20th 1909
Council to order by W.R. Cook Mayor, with the following present Foust, Lucas, and Dye. The committee to hold City elections reported as follows
"In an election held April 6th the following were the votes cast
For Mayor

TJ Bell 2 votes
BH Starr 1 votes
For Marshall
WT Bigbee 37 votes
W_ Bennett 11 votes
AW Mc____ 32 votes
For Alderman
DE Austin 81 votes
AM Dye 75 votes
JT Lucas 78 votes
HR Wall 76 votes
Earl Yates 73 votes
John Nash 13 votes
BH Yancey 1 vote
BH Starr 1 vote
WH Lucas 1 vote
on motion of JE Foust the following were declared elected WR Cook, Mayor, _______ Marshall

DE Austin, Am Dye, JT Lucas, HR Wall and Earl Yates Alderman.
WR Cook too the oath of office as Mayor, WT Bigbee took the oath of office as Marshall.
WT Bigbee presented an official ____ giving HR Wall, DE Austin, and WS Ratliff a _____. The board was duly approved by the council.
The following bills were approved
