Home My WebLink About1923-04-30259 Minutes of meeting of City Council held April 30, 1923 Meeting called to order by Mayor Wall who stated that the meeting had been called to decide whether or not the City Council would grant the Ku Klux permission to parade through the streets of Grapevine at some future date. After some discussion, ___ was granted by a majority vote of the Council and the Secretary was instructed to advise them that permission had been granted. They were asked to advise the Mayor as much as three days in advance of the parade if possible. A communication from Mayor ER Cockrell of Ft Worth in regard to a street sweeper read and EE Lowe, CM Mullican were appointed a committee to investigate the matter.
