HomeMy WebLinkAbout1925-05-01A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine Texas, was held Friday, May 1, 1925 at 8:30 pm with the following present, EE Lowe as Mayor presiding, and Aldermen LD Kirkpatrick, JW Harrison and HC Yancey.
The minutes of the previous meetings read and approved.

Bid of DD Wall for taking up old two inch and three inch pipe and laying two and three inch pipe was accepted. His bid being $10.25 per hundred feet for laying pipe and $5.50 for taking up old pipe. Bids were filed by Roy Goodman $11.25 for laying pipe, BW Winfrey $14.00 for laying pipe and DeArman and Starr $10 for laying pipe and $8.00 for taking up pipe.
The mayor was instruced to enter into contract with Mr. Wall and have him execute sufficient bond.
Application of SJ Thomas for position as supintendt of Water Works was read and ordered filed.
