The minutes of the previous meetings read and approved. His bid being $10.25 per hundred feet for laying pipe and $5.50 for taking up old pipe. Bids were filed by Roy Goodman $11.25 for laying pipe, BW Winfrey $14.00 for laying pipe and DeArman and Starr $10 for laying pipe and $8.00 for taking up pipe. The mayor was instruced to enter into contract with Mr. Wall and have him execute sufficient bond. Application of SJ Thomas for position as supintendt of Water Works was read and ordered filed.
