Council called to order by Barton Starr Mayor with all alderman present. Th following street and alley committee was appointed JE Foust, Bill Yancy, Jt Lucker.
Committee on Public Grounds, Saunderson, Yancey and Dye. Nuisance Committee A.M. Dye, Joe ????, F. Saunderson,
BR Wall elected Secretary.
VM Washam elected Treasurer. BH Yancey assistant secretary.
VM Washam was elected Chief of the Fire Department to oraganize with 13 members. Adjourned until next meeting.
