The following resolution was offered and passed. Resolved that the Marshall shall be paid as follows for the present term I. A salary of fifteen dollars per month. II. Ten percent of all occupation tax of those engaged in regular business in Grapevine. III. One third of all the license and peddlers tax and graft licenses. IV. ___ percent of al taxes assessed and 2 1/2 percent of all taxes collected to be counted as taxes actually collected. V. All customary officers fee in corporation court. Mr. Valentine elected City Attorney on a salary of customary attorney fees in the corporation court . There being no further business Council adjourned. BH Starr BR Wall Secretary
