4. Building Board of Appeals to conduct a briefing session to discuss items
scheduled to be heard in the August 14, 2023, public hearing.

7. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Commission
under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing a Citizen
Appearance Request form with the staff. A member of the public may address
the Commission regarding an item on the agenda either before or during th4
Commission's consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the Chairman
or upon theconsent of the Commission. In accordance with the Texas Open
Meetings Act, the Commission is restricted in discussing or taking action during
Citizen Comments.

01 for the consideration of amending the recommendation to City Council
for the adoption of the 2021 International Building Code to include amendments
to the 2021 International Building Code (IBC), National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA) and the 2020 National Electric Code (NFPA 70) regarding
electric vehicle charging stations. 10.

The Building Board of Appeals for the City of Grapevine, Texas, met on Monday
evening, August 14, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room,
2nd Floor, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas, for a Briefing Session with the
f ,ollowing members present to wit:

Appeals to order at approximately 6:05 P.M.

4. Building Board of Appeals to conduct a briefing session to discuss items

Building Official, Larry Gray briefed the Building Board of Appeals regarding the
item scheduled to be heard in the regular public hearing.

8. Building Board of Appeals to conduct a public hearing relative to Case
