ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969, THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 23RD DAY OF JUNE, 1981. DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE X COUNTY OF TARRANT X STATE OF TEXAS X The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board convened in regular meeting at 7:30 P.M., on this the 25th day of June, 1981, with the following members present to -wit: Mike McKinney Don McCoy Margaret Bates Elmer Ball Don Callenius David Pair Kevin Conklin of the City Staff was present. Mike McKinney called the meeting to order. The invocation was given by Elmer Ball. Under Action Items, the revision of the Community Room and Civic Center policies was discussed. The following changes were made to the existing policies: (1) $10.00 deposit on keys (2) non-residents of Grapevine cannot book either facility more than 2 weeks in advance (3) at the time of reservations, a $20.00 building deposit must be paid within 24 hours (4) non-residents will also pay a non-refundable $20.00 building use fee (5) there is a right to deny the use of the facilities Don Callenius motioned that the policy be adopted. The motion was seconded by Elmer Ball. The motion pass unanimously. Under Discussion Items, the budget for 1981-82 was briefly discussed. It was decided to hold a budget meeting on Monday, July 13, at 7:30 P.M. at Grapevine City Hall. There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Elmer Ball, and seconded by Don McCoy. All present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned. DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CHAIRMAN
