Board to consider making a recommendation to the Council with regards to a City Parks and Recreation Master Plan VI. ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969, THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AGENDA WAS PREPARED. AND POSTED ON THIS THE 9TH DAY OF OCTOBER. Director of Parks & Recreation CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS X The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board convened in regular meeting at 7:30 P.M., on this the 13th day of October, 1981, with the following members present to -wit: Mike McKinney Elmer Ball Don Callenius Margaret Bates Mike Pearce Terry Cheek of Schrickel, Rollins, and Associates was present. Kevin Conklin of the City Staff was present. Mike McKinney called the meeting to order. The invocation was given by Kevin Conklin. The minutes of September 24th, 1981, were approved unanimously. Under Action Items, the Board heard a presentation by Terry Cheek, representing the firm of Schrickel, Rollins, and Associates, regarding a Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the City. Mr. Cheek mentioned that the time frame for the plan would be approximately six months. The price range would be $18,000-$22,000. After questions from the Board, Don Callenius motioned that the Board recommend to the Council the approval of the firm to prepare the plan. A second was made by Mike Pearce. The vote was unanimous. Under Miscelleneous Reports, a letter of resignation by Don McCoy was received by the Board. A search committee was formed to recommend to the Board and Council a replacement for Mr. McCoy. The committee members are Don, Elmer, Margaret, and Jerry. The next meeting will be Thursday, November 12, 1981. There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Don Callenius, and seconded by Elmer Ball. All present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned. DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION CHAIRMAN
