1969, THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND
POSTED ON THIS THE 15TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1984.

The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board convened
in regular meeting at 7:30 p.m., on this the 20th day of
February, 1984, with the following members present to -wit:
Scott Brown
John Levitt
Don Callenius
Mike McKinney
Bobby Nery
Bill Martin
Janice Kirkland
Jerry Brown
Julian Dyke
Kevin Conklin and Ann Gventer of the City Staff were
present, as was architect Harvey Moore.
The meeting was called to order by Mike McKinney.
The invocation was given by John Levitt.
The Minutes of January 26, 1984 were approved unanimously.
Under Discussion Items, Kevin made a presentation regarding
a Capital Improvements Project list made up of 3 items:
(1) Indoor Pool
(2) Indoor Recreation Center
(3) Land acquisition and miscellaneous improvements
Mr. Moore answered and discussed several questions regarding
the indoor facilities.
Under Action Items, Don Callenius motioned that the Board
accept the three proposals, and determine site locations
later. Julian Dyke seconded. The Board unanimously voted
to recommend to the Council that the 3 proposals be in-
cluded in a future Parks and Recreation Bond Issue.
If necessary, the Board will meet March 5th; if not, the
meeting will be March 26th.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
