DAY OF MARCH, 1986. DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE It COUNTY OF TARRANT 9[9[ STATE OF TEXAS 11 The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board convened in regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. on this the 27th. day of March, 1986, with the following members present to -wit: Sue Burgtorf Mike Conroy Bobby Nery Bill Martin Bobby Wise Margaret Telford Penny Bigbie Alex McKee Kevin Conklin and Mark Mailes of the City Staff were present. Also present was Laurence Maloney, consulting engineer. The meeting was called to order by Sue Burgtorf. The invocation was given by Bobby Nery. The minutes of February 20, 1986 were unanimously approved, with the following exception: Mike Conroy WAS present February 20th. Under Action Items, the following business was conducted: Kevin presented the Board with information and cost factors regarding the lighting of two soccer fields at Oak Grove Park. The proposed lighted fields would be fields #2 and #3. Proposal #1 with 48 fixtures per field would cost approximately $94,736, and proposal #2 with 60 fixtures would cost approximately $108,037. Bill Martin Motioned and Margaret Telford seconded to recommend to the City Council the figure of $108,037, if funds are available for the project. The vote was unanimous for the recommendation. Under Miscellaneous Reports, a memorial plaque will be presented to Mrs. Don Callenius on April 1 at the Council meeting. The Grapevine Rotary Club is donating a 40' x 50' park pavilion to be located at Parr Park. The City has received a tract of land that is .8 acre in Glade Landing Subdivision. The next meeting will be April 17, 1986. There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Alex McKee and seconded by Mike Conroy. All present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned.
