DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Board to meet and discuss with Larry Oferdahl, Director of Parks and Recreation Department for the City of McKinney concerning their Park Master Plan. VII, ACTION ITEMS A. Board to discuss and take necessary action on its position on the house on the property North of the Senior Citizens Center. VIII. ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969, THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 9TH. DAY OF JUNE, 1989. lylaJ hiat-1 DIRECTOR OF P RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met in regular session Thursday, June 15, 1989, at 7:40 P.M. at the Grapevine Senior Citizens Center, 421 North Church Street, Grapevine, Texas, with the following members present to -wit: Robert Brunson David O'Briant Shane Wilbanks Julian Dyke Bobby Kay Nery Bill Martin Alex McKee Margaret Telford The following City Staff was also present to -wit: Mark Mailes Joe Moore Also present were the following guests: Kathy Brunson Denise Gasmire Larry Oferdahl, Director of Parks and Recreation of McKinney, Texas. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Bill Martin. INVOCATION The invocation was given by Julian Dyke. MINUTES The minutes of the May 18, 1989 meeting, were approved. Shane Wilbanks administered the oath of office for the Parks Board to Margaret Telford, Robert Brunson, and David O'Briant. CITIZEN'S REQUEST AND/OR MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS Bill Martin read a letter that stated a Community Board member meeting of area cities would be held on June 24, 1989. Joe Moore presented "Recycling Center" concept as an FYI item to the board.
