ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969, THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 9TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1989. YIN i �'m& �f7'4' DIRE OF P RECREATION CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARR.ANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met in regular session Thursday, November 16, 1989 at 7:40 p.m. at the Grapevine Senior Citizen's Center, 421 North Church Street, Grapevine, Texas, with the following members present, to -wit: Bill Martin Julian Dyke Ray Payne David O'Briant Shane Wilbanks The following City Staff were present: Mark Mailes Joe Moore Doug Kratz Visitor - Worth Blake Julian Dyke moved to adopt the Minutes of meetings of October 26, 1989. The Minutes were adopted as written. Shane Wilbanks gave a report on the Hilton Golf Course project. The Course would be public and would be built and maintained by the Hilton. Shane Wilbanks, Mark Mailes, Mark Watson and Jerry Pittman are on a committee to work with the Hilton on this project. Park Board recommendation - City would enter an arrangement to have funds come back to the City for use on the Grapevine Lake Master Plan. The consensus of four board members was that the plans for the golf course sounded good with a recommendation to proceed. Council will hear project and make recommendation. Joe Moore reported on the William D. Tate marker, John Rainwater Tree, Bicentennial Tree, Arbor Season. Report on the Resolution Inventory of Parks. Final report has to be presented to Council December 5, 1989. Scope of original resolution has been expanded to include some opinions of the Parks and Recreation Board and Department. Proposed to get additional information and distribute on Thursday or Friday, November 30 or December 1st to the Parks and Recreation Board, then make phone calls to the Board Members to get analysis/input on Monday, December 4, 1989. Action Items: Athletic Policy Changes - proposal to bring to February Parks and Recreation Board Meeting after the January Sports meeting.
