Crossing IV and Stonegate subdivisions.
B. Board to consider appointments to Lake Master Plan Committees and
take any necessary action.

The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday, June 21, 1990 at
7:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Senior Citizen's Center, 421 North Church Street,
Grapevine, Texas, with the following members present, to -wit:
Absent:

David O'Briant
The following City Staff were present:
Mark Mailes
John Doshier
Bill Martin
Margaret Telford
Shane Wilbanks
Ray Payne
Dick Rawlins
Joe Moore
The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m.
The invocation was given by Joe Moore.
The minutes of the May 11, 1990 meeting were approved.
Oath of office given to Denise Gasmire and Bill Martin.
Election of Officers:
Margaret nominated Bill Martin as Chairman; seconded by Jackie Disselkoen;
unanimously approved.
Margaret nominated Jackie Disselkoen; seconded by Robert Brunson;
unanimously approved.
Robert Brunson nominated Margaret Telford; seconded by Denise Gasmire;
unanimously approved.
Miscellaneous Reports:
Bill Martin gave a report that Paragon Cable mailed a survey to him to have the
Parks and, Recreation Board respond. It was decided that copies would be mailed
to each member.
Also, Joe Moore reported on the recycling birthday party; and Mark Mailes gave
a report on the department's plans for July --National Parks and Recreation Month.
Action Items:
It was recommended that the Stonegate Area Park be named Pecan Park. Motion to
name Pecan Park made by Jackie Disselkoen; seconded by Robert Brunson; passed.
The Board also recommended naming Glade Crossing III to Hazy Meadows Park.
Motion to name Hazy Meadows Park made by Jackie Disselkoen; seconded by Denise
Gasmire; passed.
The second order of business was to consider appointments to the Lake Master Plan
Committee:

Bill Martin appointed Ray Payne as Parks Board representative to the Oak Grove
Committee and David O'Briant as representative to the Meadowmere Committee:
The Committees will be invited to the July 19, 1990 Parks Board Meeting.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Robert Brunson and seconded
by Denise Gasmire to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was
adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
