The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday,
November 15, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grapevine senior Citizen's
Center, 421 North Church Street, Grapevine, Texas with the
following members present, to -wit:

The following City Staff were present:
David O'Briant
Margaret Telford
Shane Wilbanks
Ray Payne
Jack Webre
Doug Kratz Joe Moore

The meeting was called to order by Margaret Telford. The
invocation was given by Alex McKee. Robert Brunson moved that the
minutes of the October 18, 1990 meeting be approved, David O'Briant
seconded. The minutes were approved.
Under citizen's requests and miscellaneous reports, Joe Moore
reported that the Christmas Tree Recycling Program is in its third
successful year. Mark Mailes reported that the Oak Grove Master
Plan will go before the City Council at the December Council
meeting. The City recently hired Colleen Butterfield as the
Recycling Coordinator for the City Employee Recycling Program. Mr.
Mailes also reported that St. Frances Catholic Church donated
thirty-seven hundred dollars to be used in the construction of a
handicapped playground at Cannon Elementary School.
Under action item the Board heard a presentation by the Meadowmere
Lake Master Plan Committee. Rick Davis, chairperson, along with
committee members Roland Upton and David O'Briant made the
presentation. Julian Dyke moved to accept the Grapevine Lake
Master Plan as presented by the Meadowmere Planning Committee.
Robert Brunson seconded. The report was approved and will be sent
to the City Council for further action. The committee was
commended for the excellent work they did.
Alex McKee moved that the meeting be adjourned. David O'Briant
seconded. The meeting was adjourned.
