The City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation Board met Thursday,
April 16, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Senior Citizen's
Center, 421 North Church Street, Grapevine, Texas with the
following members present, to -wit:

Denise Gasmire

Alex McKee
David O'Briant
Margaret Telford
Don Hanes
Bill Martin
Jack Webre
Shane Wilbanks
(Absent due to Council Workshop)
The following City Staff were present:
Mark Mailes
Joe Moore
The meeting was called to order by Bill Martin and the invocation
was given. Denise Gasmire moved that the minutes of the February
20, 1992 meeting be approved. Jackie Disselkoen seconded the
motion. The motion carried, unamiously.
Under Discussion Item A, Bill was thanked for his efforts on the
Bond Election. Bill gave thanks to Grapevine Baseball Association.
It is anticipated that the bonds to build the baseball fields will
be sold first, so that the new complex can be playable by Spring
'93.
Item B; Update on Bear Run Park Grant application process.
Item C; TREEfest update was given.
Item D; Dove Park Improvements update - The slab was poured for
pumphouse, the block is due in in 2 weeks. Tennis courts bid came
in at $100,000.00. Also discussed was the closed section of Oak
Grove Park.
At 7:56 it was moved and seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
