Report to be given by Bill Wilton on the naming of the parks. C. Discussion of a monthly meeting date. D. Discussion of the Master Plan of Oak Grove Park. E. Report to be given by Bob Hart on Summer Recreation Programs and activities in the Parks and Pool area. F. Aar C TY PARKS & REC TION DIRECTOR • STATE OF TEXAS Lj X COUNTY OF TARRAIN, X CITY OF GRAPEVINE X The Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas, convened in regular meeting at 7: 30 P.M. , on this the 25th day of April, 1975, with the following members present, to-wit: Ira Hemphill Secretary Gerald Thompson Member Don Gerschick Member Mrs. McAfferty constituting a quorum, with Bill Wilton Director/Parks & Recreation Dept. Bob Hart Rec. Supt./Parks & Rec. Dept. Ira Hemphill called the meeting to order. The first order of business was to discuss the Master Plan for Oak Grove Park. The first phase was discussed and the Board asked the park planner to get specifications to the City. The next order of business was to discuss the Specific Sports Seasons for the Procedure Manual for the Park Board. There was little discussion and the Board asked that a copy of the Specific Sports Seasons be given to each City Council member along with the Procedure Manual at the next meeting for approval. The next order of business was to discuss a monthly meeting date and time. Gerald Thompson made a motion to approve Bill Wilton' s suggestion of the last Thursday of each month. Don Gerschick seconded the motion and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Hemphill, Thompson, Gerschick, McAfferty Cr, Noes: None Bill Wilton then gave the report on the naming of the parks. Bob Hart then gave a report on all the summer sports programs, softball leagues and tournaments and the Little League Baseball programs . There being no further business, Gerald Thompson made a motion to 4111, adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Don Gerschick and all present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned by 9:45 P.M.
