Hunt Building Corporation has heretofore been unable to begin
construction or drilling operations under the referenced special use permlt due to
unforeseen problems encountered during negotiations for mineral development
with an area oil and gas operator. For this reason, we are requesting a 12 -month
extension to the subject permit.
Cimarron Exploration, on behalf of our parent company, Hunt Building
Corporation, is currently pursuing negotiations with two area oil and gas
operators in regard to the development of the minerals underlying this property.
It is our belief that these negotiations will be concluded within 90 days.
Depending on the availability of service companies, a drilling rig and directional
drilling tools, drilling operations should commence by December 2000.
Should you require any additional information, please let me know. Thank
you for your assistance in extending this permit.
Sincerely,
Richard C. Gilliland
