BACKGROUND:
The City Council has previously authorized staff to offer the appraised value of
$ 5,925.00 for the tract. This includes the cost of the right-of-way ( $3,675.00) and an
estimated cost ($2,250.00) for the relocation of the fence by the owner after the project
is complete.
July 27, 2000 (10:OOAM)
The owners relocation of the fence will eliminate the City's contractor relocating the
fence as part of the roadway project.
The owner has responded with an offer of $ 6,925.00 based upon his estimate for the
fence relocation of $ 3,250. 00. Staff feels the request of the owner totaling $ 6,925.00
is reasonable.
Staff recommends approval.
