SUBJECT: AWARD OF BID NUMBER 45-2000 MEZZANINE LIFT
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to consider an award to W. W. Cannon, Inc. as the lowest and best bid
meeting City specifications to install a vertical mezzanine lift in the CVB storage facility.
The total amount of this award is $18.970.00. A bid tabulation is attached for review.

BACKGROUND:
Bids were taken in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter
B, Section 252.021, 252.0215, and 252.022.
This bid was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and the Grapevine Sun on
January 27, 2000 and February 3, 2000.
This bid is for the purchase and installation of a 2000 Lb. vertical mezzanine lift to be
installed in the CVB storage facility. The bid was sent to six vendors with three vendors
responding. The lowest bid received, which met all required specifications, was from W.
W. Cannon.
Staff recommends approval.
