Staff recommendation is to make an award as follows:
Item 1 It is recommended that this item be awarded to the low bid of Doty & Sons
Item 2 -It is recommended that this item be awarded to the second low bid of Modlin
Recreation. The low bid of Kay Park Recreation did not meet the specifications listed in
the bid. The equipment they bid was polyurethane enamel coated rather than powder
coated and they did not bid a one piece body construction as requested.
Item 3 -It is recommended that this item be awarded to the low bid of Modlin Recreation.
Item 44t is recommended that this item be awarded to the low bid of Modlin Recreation.
Item -6 It is recommended that this item be awarded to the second low bid of Modlin
Recreation. The low bid of Jaypro Sports, Inc. did not meet the requested specifications
listed in the bid. The equipment they bid was aluminum rather than the plasticsol vinyl
coated. Due to the fact that aluminum becomes extremely hot in the summer and can
burn people and children who wear shorts it is not an acceptable product to use for
bleachers.
Item 6-1t is recommended that this item be awarded to the second low bid of Modlin
Recreation. The low bid of Jaypro Sports, Inc. did not meet the requested specifications
listed in the bid. The equipment they bid was aluminum rather than the plasticsol vinyl
coated. Due to the fact that aluminum becomes extremely hot in the summer and can
burn people and children who wear shorts it is not an acceptable product to use for
benches.
Staff recommends approval.
