The scope of the project is the replacement of an existing old water line in Eckley Street
between Wall Street and Walnut Street. The estimated cost for this project is $135,612.00.
We do not know the total funds that will be made available through this year's CDBG
program. If CDBG funding plus City match funding does not meet the cost of construction
after the bid opening, the City will be allowed to fund the remainder of the cost, or the
project may be reduced in scope.
This area is located in the Original Town of Grapevine, CDBG Target Area, designated as
census tract 1137.052 in the 2000 Census.
These improvements will contribute to the upgrade of the area by providing an improved
water supply system and fire protection. We anticipate next year's CDBG project
application will be the continuation of this waterline to connect with Sunshine Harbor
addition.
