This letter confirms on October 22, 2013, Historic Preservation staff approved
with conditions #CA13 -95 for the property addressed 625 East Texas Street,
legally described as Block 105, Lots 6 & 7, College Heights Addition, Grapevine,
Texas. The following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
For the installation of GAF Timberline HD Pewter Gray shingles, GAF
Sienna Chateau Gray shingles; Berridge Tee -Panel 24 gauge in color Pre -
weathered Galvalume; and Semco Windows LOE
as per attached specification sheets with the condition a permit for windows and
doors is obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building
Permit and a permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's
Building Department at 817 -410 -3165 for fees and information regarding
permits.

SPECIFICATIONS

PRODUCT:
Furnish and install Berridge Tee -Panel Standing Seam System as manufactured
by Berridge Manufacturing Company, San Antonio, Texas.
MANUFACTURE:
Tee -Panel provides a 12 -314' coverage with a 1" seam height (Snap on Seam
contains a factory applied vinyl weatherseal insert). Panel and Snap on Seam are
available from the factory in continuous lengths to a maximum of 40' -0 ". Panel
may be field roll formed to virtually unlimited lengths with Berridge SS -14 Portable
Roll Former. Panel and Snap on Seam may be field curved with SS -14, both
concave and convex to a minimum radius of 4' -0 ".
WEATHERTIGHTNESS:
Certification from independent testing laboratory indicating no measurable air or
water penetration through the Snap on Seam in accordance with ASTM E 1680
and E 1646 is required.
ENGINEERING:
Roof deck shall be of a solid structural sheathing and free of all objects which may
puncture undedayment, (entire roof area mustbe covered with a minimum of number
thirty roof felt run horizontally starting at the eave, review Berridge underlayment
details forcomplete installation instructions). Where required, panel assemblies can
be constructed to meet Underwriter's Laboratory UL 90 pursuant to Construction
Number 296. Additional UL fire rated assemblies reference Berridge website.
