A list of those who attended this meeting is attached. The builder of the development, David Weekly Homes, has committed to: • Having suppliers load all building material shipments on to the driveways rather than the unpaved portions of the front yard set back. • Calling the Building Inspections Department before and after all work that has to be done through an area within the drip line of a tree. Weekly makes no such commitment for work done by franchised utilities as their schedules are not under Weekly's control. Clear disclosure during the selling process about the possibility of tree loss on a lot during construction. Particularly the loss of post oaks as these trees are very sensitive to ground disturbances. (section from current contract attached) Timely policing of debris in the yards during various construction phases. The City has committed to: • Requiring the fencing of all trees to extend out to the drip line of every tree. • Developing for general distribution an educational pamphlet on the impact landscape irrigation can have on trees, particularly post oaks. ary Contact person for building construction issues is Jerry Cool at 817-410-3129 and for drainage concerns is Farish at 817-410-3361.
