This letter confirms on February 28, 2024 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA24-13 for the property addressed 204 East Franklin Street, legally described
as Block 16, Lot 1 R, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-
73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following-
1 . Remove the existing wood fence in the rear portion of the lot and replace it with a
six-foot tall cedar fence, using wood pickets mounted on wood rails, and supported
with metal posts; metal posts to be encased with wood; and all wood to be stained
"pecan" color;
as per the attached plan and photos with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.

Fence for 204 E Franklin St, IPAT Museum of Porcelain Art
Current state of fence: the cattle fence on the west side is
leaning. It will be removed all the way to Franklin St. It
will only be replaced around IPAT's parking lot.
Current state of fence: the cattle fence on the east side traps
trash and impedes removal of vines. It will be removed.
There is an existing wooden fence in good shape on that side.
Current state of fence: on the south side, only one section of the wooden fence is standing. The current fence will be completely
removed and replaced. After the fence is replaced, the grounds will be relandscaped and seeded.
