MEMO TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, ACTING CITY MANAGER
MEETING DATE: SEPTEMBER 13, 2005
SUBJECT: WORKSHOP DISCUSSION
Attached for your review is a draft list of topics for future workshop discussion.
On Tuesday we hope to accomplish the following:
1. To agree on a list/order of topics you want to discuss in the coming months.
Staff will be prepared to brief you on the prioritization of the items from a staff
perceptive.
2. Discuss Council preference for scheduling the workshops over the next several
months. Potential scheduling options:
• Early on regular Council meeting days or at another time?
• Frequency of workshops. We want to make sure that we take our time with
each of these topics and that we proceed at a pace in which you are
comfortable.
• Location of workshops.
Since we know everyone is worn out on the Tuesday after GrapeFest, we plan on trying
to keep this workshop as short as possible.
